Saint Kitts and Nevis

Saint Kitts and Nevis is part of the island nation in the Caribbean Sea. In terms of area and population, Saint Kitts and Nevis is one of the smallest countries in the Americas. The largest island of Saint Kitts is the capital and it is also home to the government of the federation. Saint Kitts was named after St. Christopher. While the smaller of two states within the federation, the state of Nevis or earlier known as Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, is located at a distance of about 3 km on the south-east Saint Kitts.

The origin, Anguilla, the British dependency, formed a section of the federation, and was known as Saint Christopher and Nevis-Anguilla. In terms of geography, Saint Kitts and Nevis are postulated in the Leeward Islands, but they are also close to a gathering of several islands. The St. Eustatius, Saba, St. Barthelemy and St. Martin are located on the northern islands, Antigua and Barbuda is located on the northern part, while Montserrat lies on the southern islands.

Saint Kitts and Nevis is divided into two main islands, mainly Saint Kitts and Nevis. Mount Liamuiga is the highest peak on the islands at a height of 1156 metres. The islands are volcanic terrain, decorated with huge volcanic domes covered with thick forests, steep slopes uninhabited these pics.

The majority of the population on these two islands is generally set near the sea, where the terrain is much flatter. Saint Kitts Tours is a West Indies to a small lake, while other rivers that criss-cross the terrain of these two islands.
